Tilt & Turn Windows

Tilt 'n' Turn windows are a crafty bit of engineering, as they offer you the ultimate in versatility. Turn the handle once and the window will tilt inwards, thus providing ventilation by opening in at the top. This setting is perfect if you want to avoid causing an obstruction or hazard by opening the window wide.

Handy Tips

Did you know Energy rated PVC-U windows are the most effective ways to save energy and reduce C02 emissions.

By closing the window and turning the handle upwards, the window will open inwards from the side like a normal window. At this setting you’ll also be able to reach every part of the glazing, making the tilt & turn window easy to clean and maintain. No more window-cleaning worries or expense, no matter how high off the ground your window is set.

The fact that the tilt & turn window opens inwards sets it apart from regular, outward-opening casement windows. It makes it ideal for customers to whom an opening out window is simply not suitable because of space restrictions.

The tilt & turn window is a perfectly versatile year-round product, offering plenty of light and fresh air during the summer months, and superb insulation and gentle ventilation in the winter season.

Maximum Window Dimensions

Our window system can be used to produce almost any shape of size window. A sample range of styles and size limits are shown in the table below. The maximum dimensions shown may vary depending on the location of the installation and the local wind speed. The size of the window is governed by the limiting deflection of the glass and the hardware size/weight limitations. This will define the maximum length of the mullion/transom and the glass area.
